How to measure a kid’s shoe size:
1). Place your kid's foot flat on the floor while the he's wearing a regular pair of socks.
2). Uncurl his toes if necessary, so that his feet are straight as possible.
3). Measure the total length of your kid's foot from the edge of the heel to the tip of the big toe.
4). Repeat this procedure for the other foot. Use the measurement for the largest foot to calculate the corresponding shoe size.
Always measure your child's feet towards the end of the day. This will ensure that any expansion or swelling has already taken place and you are taking the largest reading.
